Production Privee will no longer make the 917 as this was a limited edition frame. In its replacement is the limited edition from Japan the MV. The MV or SHAN Michel Vaillant: is a request from Japan to produce this new colour scheme. Comics are a big thing in Japan and one of their most popular comic book characters is Michel Vaillant who is one of the most famous French comic book characters! He is a French hero who races cars all around the world.

The Shan is probably the most highly anticipated hardtail for 2013. The Shan is actually the most advanced all mountain hardtail frame in steel that you can find on the market.
Manufactured from world renowned Japanese 4130 Cromoly and like all their products there are no compromises. Every possible idea conceived to be good was applied to the frame, no matter how complicated or costly, no corners were cut when it came to the Shan.
Its the versatile features allow the Shan to ride in all conditions, where it be; all mountain, enduro, downhill, dirt jump….all with the same bike!
When someone rides the Shan, they will ask themselves why do I need a short travel trail bike? The Shan is designed to be ridden hard in all conditions, all day and without sacrificing comfort. And a key point to this is in the frame design and vertical flexibility from the rear end. Production Privée developed and designed their own tubing with several different technologies to achieve an amazing amount of comfort and an awesome ride.
The Shan is designed for a 150MM to 160MM front travel fork and for an aggressive use.
