Sadly due to having too many bikes it has come to a point where i have to let my Nicolai go :(

The Helius FR is literally the do anything bike, i've had it built it in various different styles (air shock,160 forks, 2x10 etc) but this is what i've eventually settled on for everything. You can use this bike for blasting round trail centres or even all day rides as it pedals so well (especially with those wheels), but then with a press of the reverb lever you have a downhill bike (to the point where i sold my dh as its that good!).
The frame is amazing so versatile and the build quality is second to none! Nicolai are probably THE boutique of all the top end frame builders, if you want to find perfection in attention to detail and welding then look no further. Tried to take a few pics of the great little details that go into making such a great frame, the 'made in germany' and maximum tyre size on the chainstays, the 'N' on the headtube gussets and seat gusset detailing. If you're ever planning on doing the mega or mountain of hell etc this bike would be perfect, or even just for some off piste alps action. Why take a dh bike to the alps when this is just as good and you wont have to push it to get to all the secret (and better) trails ;D

The 180mm fox floats up front are amazing with the kashima coating are beyond blush and so light for the amount of travel. Being Floats its also possible to shim them down to 170 or even 160 if you wanted. Originally my plan was to shim them to 170mm to match the 167mm but they are just too much fun at full travel.
The CCDB after a custom tune from Malcolm at Cane Creek is by far the best shock i've ever ridden! bit hit, small bump sensitivity, grip.. it just does everything with so much ease no wonder these are in the dirt 100 year after year (and the ti spring is just the cream on the cake)

Bike Radar review of the older FR: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/frames/mountain-frame/product/review-nicolai-helius-fr-16892

The bike is available to view during the day at Holy Spokes bike shop in Horsforth Leeds so please drop by for a look.. really is a bike that needs to be seen in the flesh/metal.

May possibly break and sell frame etc for the right price.

NOTE: please DO NOT message me with idiotic swaps ie: how about swapping for my old dj bike 5 playstation games and a copy of the july dirt mag oh and a bootle of hooch and a slightly soiled baywatch calendar circa 1992
