2013 17'' Kona Explosif 650b - RS Revs, X9, Thomson,

I’m selling my Kona Explosif 650b in size 17’’. I bought this from AW Cycles in Reading over Easter and it was the last 17’’ available in the UK. It’s seen moderate use in flat old Essex with one trip to Swinley. I love this bike a lot and having recently started a new job and now I’ve got enough money to upgrade to the Titanium version. As you can imagine, it is in fantastic condition. I only ever rode this bike in the sunshine as I hate mud (hence the original tyres).

Condition: Fantastic condition with minimal marks. The forks have a tiny mark on the side (pictured) and there are a couple of small marks on the rims and the frame. No cable rub on the forks and no rip/tears in the saddle or grips (or tyres). The wear to the drivetrain is minimal as it’s not been used in the mud and regularly lubed.

Upgrades:
- I purchased a thomson 70mm stem, 0’ rise and some Easton Havoc 750mm wide bars.
- I have also changed the saddle for a comfy (IMO) Charge Spoon.
- I’ve also fitted a 36t Work thick/thin chainring. The original double rings, shifter and front mech are included.
- Front wheel has been setup tubeless.
I’ve recently applied some vinyl stickers to cover the orange parts with blue and black, just for a change. These can be removed and returned back to stock if you like. I’ll add some pictures shortly.
