Selling my mint 2006 Marzocchi 888 with Avalanche Racing damping cartridge.
200mm travel, 20mm front axle.
Flawless stanchions, lowers have only a couple of tiny rock chips. Fresh oil change, no leaks of any form and ready to bolt on and ride.
Soft springs installed, but comes with stock medium springs.
The heart of this unicorn is an Avalanche Racing damping cartridge. All CNC'd aluminum, no plastic. Speed-sensitive godliness with hydraulic bottom-out control.

Only one season of riding on the Avy cartridge. Fantastic damping, similar to my Dorado and more supple in the smaller stuff than the Fox 40 that I ran last season.
Damper does NOT come with the mid-valve, as I found that it wasn't needed. The mid-valve kit is $39+shipping from Avalanche if you want to stiffen up the mid-stroke. The damper can be custom shimmed to whatever you desire, revalve kits are also available from Avalanche.
Fork also comes with original RC2X damping cartridge (not pictured), Marzocchi direct mount stem (including factory shims to fit both 25.4mm and 31.8mm bars), as well as a brake adapter for 8" brakes. You'll also get the Marzocchi fork bag that came with it when I bought it new.
2006 was the last year that these beauties were built in Italy, and this one is pristine.
$550 takes it away.
