2007 SWD Racing Psyko 7 frame, size small/med, fits riders up to about 5'10". 165mm(6.5 inches) of travel all mountain/freeride/mini-dh bike
For those unfamiliar with SWD Racing, they were a small custom frame company from Northern California run by the late Steve Delay. Frames were made out of 4130 chromoly and utilized a podium proven single pivot suspension. Fully sealed frame with no breather holes, so no rust. Lively, quiet, and tough, they very rarely come up for sale.
This particular frame is a custom, long travel version of their all-mountain 6 Gun, meant to be paired with a 160-180mm fork but built to handle up to a 200mm dual crown if you want to build it out as a mini-dh bike. A very multipurpose, fun frame.
Geometry and specs:
Seat tube: 16" (center of bb to top of top tube)
Top Tube actual: 21"
Seatube angle: 74 degrees (fork affects)
Bottom bracket: 13.5" (fork affects)
Chainstays: 17"
Head angle: 67 degrees (fork affects)
135mmx12mm rear hub
27.2mm seatpost
68mm bb shell
1 1/8" headset
Frame is in great shape with no dents or problems. Bearings are smooth.
Powdercoat is a little rough in spots but she'd look fantastic with a strip and a new color.
**There are some tiny cracks in the corners of the cosmetic head tube gussets (see picture) that are common and normal for this frame when a dual crown fork has been used and the bumpers hit the gusset, flexing it... it in NO WAY affects the bike's strength and is cosmetic only. Of course, being a steel frame, they could easily be repaired or removed. The gussets are thin and non-structural, They were added for cosmetic reasons to later production frames.**
Comes with Fox DHX 5.0, 2.5" stroke coil shock in very good shape. 550# and 400# springs included. Chrome shock hardware, custom double-shear derailleur hanger, rear 12mm axle, new decals, Salsa seat clamp.
