This is my old XC bike. I have a newer hardtail 29" and have just not ridden this enough to warrant keeping it. I have really loved this bike. I work in a shop as a mechanic. The bike has been professionally maintained and serviced using shop tools. Pivot bearings have been routinely serviced and replaced. Brand new pivot bearings are in the bike frame now. The fork and rear shock have been dissasembled, had fluids and seals replaced, and cleaned on what might be the most regular schedule I've seen anyone keep. Both are freshly serviced. Frame is powdercoated orange. This is either the last year that Santa Cruz was making any frames in the USA or of the last 2 or 3 years. The Fox Float RP3 is what came on the frame. The fork is a 2006 Fox Float F100RLT. That means from the F-series, which is slightly lighter. 100mm of travel and the adjustments are Rebound, Lockout, and Threshold adjustment. The shock shaft and fork stanctions are in perfect/mint condition. The gearing is 3x9 with XTR shifters, cassette(11-34), front derailleur, and rear derailleur. Chain wear is measuring at 0.5, effectively a new chain. Crankset and bottom bracket are Race Face Deus and Race Face XC, respectively. Bottom bracket has very few miles and is practically new. Chainrings are 26/32/44. The brakes are Magura Louises and have been bled roughly once per year. I had replaced the wheels about two years ago with this Sun Ringle Black Flag wheelset that certainly were an upgrade from the DT Swiss set that had a ton of miles on them. Tires are pretty new. The front has maybe 80-100 miles on it and is a Maxxis Advantage 26x2.1 in the Exception compound. The rear is a 26x2.1 Maxxis Aspen with under 40-50 miles on it. It could pass for new if it weren't a little dirty. Both tires are mounted ghetto-tubeless with a split inner tube to function as the rim strip and valve. Easton Monkey Lite XC handlebar that measures 685mm with a low rise. The seatpost is an SDG I-beam with a SDG Bel-Air saddle. If you are interested in a railed seat post and saddle, I have several options that can be put together. $900 via PayPal. Buyer pays actual shipping.
