2013 Felt Edict Nine 3 ... wicked fast XC race rig! As an amateur off-road triathlete & XC MTBer, this is one hell of a speed machine. Felt's FAST suspension technology literally floats the bike over rocky technical sections without compromising climbing capacity by eliminating rider's bob with a patented spring-leaf rear stay setup. If you're looking for a speedy, full susp, lightweight race rig, this is the one!

Put a bunch of **upgrades into this over the 5 months I've been riding it (drivetrain components, 1x10 conversion, brakes, wheelset, saddle ... all marked by **below) for a final weigh-in at 24.7 pounds. Only reason for selling is to upgrade to Felt's Edict Nine 1 hardtail (smoother races on the books for 2015, so I'll deal with a bumpier ride) ... otherwise, I'd keep this bad boy & continue upgrading (lighter-weight bars, seatpost, stem, headset) - but it's faster than hell as-is!

Bike retails for $3600 stock. Upgrades include SRAM XO carbon crank & 32 tooth front ring ($250); SRAM Guide RS brakes ($150); Industry Nine 29" Ultralight MTB wheels ($1100 for set); Ergon cork grips ($30). Valued at $5100. For 5 months of moderate use & racing, asking $3200.
