2014 Enve m70 - 27.5 -black and white

These things have been ridden two times. They were display wheels use for a photo shoot. There is a small scuff on the sticker from mounting them...it's near impossible not to scratch these stickers when mounting tires. Other than that they are like new. New Maxxis tires included. 15mm front and 12mm/142mm rear.

ENVE M70 Thirty 27.5" Wheelset

Each model in the Enve M series is designed with a specific rider in mind, and classifies riders by the style of riding they most identify with by designating a ratio that represents a rider’s inclination towards descending vs. ascending. The M70 Thirty Wheelset embodies 70% Descend, 30% Climb. The rim honors the erratic sport of mountain biking by respecting the demands of pedaling toward the heavens to get to that epic descent. At a gapping 25mm wide (inner) the M70 Thirty is built for the gnarliest Enduros and Big Mountain lines, yet light enough and fast enough to trek skyward. Regardless the discipline, Enve crafted this wheel for the rider whose climb is a means to a demanding backcountry descent or flow line, taking the fun factor to unfamiliar levels.

The M70 is optimized to perform within 2.3” and 2.4” tire widths and between 150 and 190mm of suspension travel, refining the touching point between rim and tire for more precise and predictable handling. By eliminating the hook from the top of the rim sidewall, the rim features precise dimensions for a seamless tubeless setup, allowing riders to run a lower tire pressure for more stability, and zero pinch flats. The proprietary rim shape and construction enable the highest form of impact resistance and overall durability.

Where Enve takes wheel building to new levels is the fact that Enve rims are never drilled for spoke holes and valve holes. When the rims are molded, separate molds for different spoke counts are used, meaning the rims are molded around the spoke holes. This allows the carbon fibers to be routed around the hole to create continuous, unbroken fibers in the rim, and strength to each spoke hole. This enables spoke holes to resist much higher spoke tensions and more uniform tensions around the rim. The result is a stronger, lighter, easy-to-build, low maintenance, high quality wheel.
