For sale, one 2006* Kona Jake cyclocross bike.

Rootbeer brown.

56 cm frame (best suited for someone 6 foot +), Kona Ultralite 7005 Butted Aluminum.
Kona Project Two fork.
Cane Creek Aheadset STS.
Shimano Deore hubs.

Upgrades include:
Shimano 105 shifters and rear derailleur (7 speed).
Nashbar CR2 Compact Road Bike Crankset (50/34T).
Schwalbe Marathon tires, 700x32C (for my money, the ultimate commuter tires. practically bullet proof)
New chain.
New rear casette (12/28T, climbs like a mountain goat, but still can push big gear on a flat stretch).
Bontrager Affinity RL saddle.
Easton EA30 bar.

Drivetrain and rear hub were servied late summer 2014.


*Bit of a Frankenbike - older frame (with a few scars, but chicks dig scars). Most of the components are newer.

in it's current incarnation mostly a road riding/commuter. Switch out the bar/tires, make it into the bike YOU want. Room to switch to narrow knobbies, so would make a suitable year-round commuter as well.
