Selling my medium 2006 Bottlerocket to fund another bike build. I'm living in Germany for work until the end of January. This bike is at my parents' house in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. If I sell the bike, I will box it up and ship it when I'm back at my parents' house for Christmas. I'll be at my parents' from December 21st to 28th, so I won't be able to ship the bike until then. If you're in the area when I'm home, you're more than welcome to stop by.

Bottlerockets are known as great all around bikes and this Bottlerocket has been just that for me. I'm it's second owner. It's a NW North Carolina bike. This bike lives for jumpy flowy trails like PBJ @ Rocky Knob. It is also able to handle downhill really well. I have ridden it on every trail at Snowshoe Bike Park, and had a lot of fun. It's not an all out downhill bike. It's more of a dirt jump oriented free-ride bike; responsive and easy to throw around but solid and stable. With the dropper post, and how light it's built up, you can also pedal it around no problem on the trails. I rode it a lot in NC on the Lake Norman and Lake Hickory XC trails.

First the bad:
-The fork lockout isn't working 100%. When switched on, it's not 100% locked. It's kind of mushy. Otherwise the forks work great. They're smooth, quiet, hold air like they should, and the dampening adjustments all work like they should.
-There is a quarter sized dent at the bottom right side of the downtube. It's about 4 inches away from the bottom bracket. It was there when I bought it from the previous owner. These frames are beefy, and there's no cracks so it never bothered me.
-Normal scrapes and scuffs.

The build:
-I'm 6'0" 200lbs, the previous owner is 6'0' 185lbs.
-Black '06 Bottlerocket, Medium Frame, everything is red and black
-1x9 drivetrain
-MRP G2 chainguide
-SRAM X9 derailleur and shifter
-Deore XT cranks
-Easton Pedals
-Avid Elixir CR brakes w/ bite point and reach adjustement, these things are light, stop great and have a good feel
-Hope 2-piece rotors 203mm front and rear
-WTB Dual Duty FR rims and WTB hubs
-WTB Bronson Tires, 85% tread
-Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock withh 600lb coil
-Marzocchi Bomber Micro 66 Ti, air, 160mm travel Fork
-Gravity Dropper seat post with remote cable
-WTB seat
-Transition Stem
-Giant 760mm handlebar
-ODI Rogue Grips

Shipping:
Bike will be packed up in a Giant bike box with plenty of padding and protection. I've shipped multiple bikes like this with no problems. The box dimensions are approximately 55" x "31 x 9." The total package weight will be about 46lbs. I recommend shipbikes.com they have the best rates. Buyer pays shipping.

Feel free to call my cell anytime.

Thanks
Anthony
