2014 Trek Madone size Small

Hi, here is my stunning Trek Madone. I've owned this bike from new since July 2013 and it has never missed a beat, and other than a couple of light scratches on the frame it in impeccable condition. It's a great sportive/road racing bike and has done me proud in many races last summer. It's a real head turner when stationary and when riding. The green, black and white Trek colours stand out from the crowd not to mention the beautiful humming sound of the super smooth ProLite wheels.

The Trek doesn't only look the part though, the performance doesn't let it down. This bike climbs brilliantly and descends like a dream, you can really corner hard on the continental Grand Prix 4000 tyres and still feel completely in control. The 42mm clinchers slice through the air beautifully and it almost feels like you're riding a couple of miles per hour faster than you should be! The wide bottom bracket gives the bike exceptional stiffness for maximum efficiency whilst riding, as does the oversize steerer tube meaning feedback is instant making for quick changes of pace.

The Compact Shimano Ultegra 6800 shifting system is light and quick as expected and has never let me down. I have had a new cassette (11-28) and a new chain over the last 500 miles, most of which have been on the turbo. Alongside the stopping power of the Shimano 105 brakes this really is a fantastic groupset, deliberately geared up to tackle any climb with ease.
The FSA K Force carbon seat post and a Selle San Marco lightweight carbon saddle have decreased the weight in this already light bike and added comfort.

This bike has covered just under 4000 miles and has been cleaned and maintained religiously after every ride. I am certain that the winner of the auction will not be disappointed. Feel free to come and have a look and a ride before bidding and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
