For sale is my Solstice all mountain/enduro frame with Marzocchi Bomber 55rs coil fork. Message for more photos of the frame!
THE SPECS
The bike has 160mm of travel front and rear, with a rockshox Monarch rear shock. Also included is my Specialized Command Post, 125mm travel 31.6mm diameter, tapered Cane Creek 40 headset with a brand spanking new upper cup, and a bunch of spare parts including a second shock/lower link to take rear travel to 170mm, 2 spare drive side chain stays, a spare rear axle, and some extra pivot bearings that may or may not roll smoothly.
Also included is a SRAM Rival Braze On front derailleur, in case you are looking to set it up 2x.
Suspension is all freshly rebuilt, shock was serviced by the QBP Shock Treatment Center in May, fork was rebuilt in December, ridden three times, and then swapped out for a Pike in early March. I personally checked every pivot bearing and replaced those that needed it while the shock was being serviced. Bike was also fully bolt checked and loctited at that time.
This frame is not by any means uber-light, but it is built to take a beating and keep going, and honestly feels much lighter on the trail than it is thanks to its low center of gravity (concentrated directly behind the bottom bracket). Not sure what the frame itself weighs, but when built with the included fork and 1x10 with all aluminum parts it weighed 32lbs.
Bike is setup for either 142x12 or 135x12, with a bolt on, pinch bolt axle, specify how you want it and I can set it up for you.
All geometry can be found in the reviews at the bottom.
THE RIDE
This bike rides like an absolute dream in all conditions. It is beefy enough for downhill runs or all day epic descents like the Whole Enchilada in Moab, but lightweight and efficient enough for all day XC riding. It's not gonna win any XC races but nobody should expect it to...
The frame is very stiff laterally, keeps traction to the ground perfectly even through the roughest technical climbs, and tracks like nothing else through the rowdiest rock gardens.
