2015 Roval Control Carbon 29

Not all carbon wheelsets have to cost an arm and a leg. Using techniques learned while developing the Control SL 29’s, we’ve been able to produce a lightweight set of 29” XC wheels at a more attainable price point. The rims feature a zero bead hook design that allows for continuous fiber layup across the sidewall and rim bed resulting in stronger impact resistance.

They have Bontrager XR3 2.3 Team Issue tires set up tubeless and each tire came in at 695g each. There are some scuffs in the finish from use but nothing that would compromise ride quality or safety. I have serviced the free hub regularly and taken great care of these wheels but I don't need 2 sets of wheels so they're up for sale. I only have about 300 miles on these because they are my secondary set and were only used for some of my out of town rides. They are true and have super light WTB black ano valve stems. I will include a second free hub body and a set of end caps to convert the rear back down to 10mm qr from the current 142x12mm which also has an extra 142x12mm free hub end cap.
