SIC (Super Innovative Concepts) Good luck looking it up. Old company, internet cannot find much of anything on them. Chase (Aaron Chase) Neutral Gear.
"The Neutral Gear was designed with the help of Aaron Chase to allow the rider to coast backwards with out pedaling. It does this by replacing the first three gears on your cassette body and allowing the chain to slide freely between the grooves on this carefully constructed Delrin piece. This super innovative product will have you coasting backwards like Chase in no time."
I never pulled it out of the bag. I was waiting to build a street bike but never wanted gears. Saw alot of guys running free coaster BMX bikes back in the day. but this system will not work that way. You have to grab the brake to stop your rearward motion.
