I just serviced it and the lockout works perfectly, There is some wear on the right stanchion but it doesn't effect performance and when I opened the unit up, it was in excellent shape.
It's an excellent fork and weighs less than 1300 grams, I don't have a ruler on hand but I can definitely measure the steerer if necessary.
