83 diesel gmc van

Offering for sale or trade my '83 GMC Vandura. Diesel V8 379 cu.in. (6.2 liter) engine, economical, dependable. Stock 4-spd OD auto trans, tilt steering whl, ps & pb power door locks. 2 inch square receiver, trailer brake.

Conversion-style plush interior - Tratech of Texas. Good condition fabric swivel armrest seats, beige/tan cloth and pile carpet interior. The bench seat in back manually folds down - completely flat - to the size of a full bed, or leave up for 6-7 passenger seating. Rear door has a chrome ladder and there is a small roof rack. Stands 82 in. high, so below the 7-ft. limit one sees these days in certain places.

Engine runs cool with good oil pressure, glow plugs w/timer. Power brakes, shfits and drives well. Fairly sure this can out-tow/haul a Previa or Westy, much more roomy.

I have clear, good Calif. title registered in my name, tags expire Jan. 2017. Good freeway cruiser, gets mileage in the 20's on diesel. EZ transfer to buyer, because this (pre-'98) diesel van doesn't need a smog test. Repeat, no-smog-test necessary.
