FRAME: Kokua LIKEaBIKE Jumper is aircraft grade Aluminum, very strong and light and will not rust while the competition is typically Steel which is heavy and rusts.
STEERING DAMPER: Kokua LIKEaBIKE Jumper has it. Can you find it on the competition? And the steering damper can be removed for more advanced riding! If the steering damper breaks, it costs a few dollars to replace!
SUSPENSION: Kokua LIKEaBIKE Jumper has a cushion behind the seat post, with a pivot connection allowing the bike to flex! Check the competition!
WHEELS and TIRES: Kokua LIKEaBIKE Jumper has alloy wheels (rims), and top of the line tires, the Schwable Big Apple tires for traction and a softer ride. Competition typically uses steel wheels (rims) which are heavy, and plastic outer and foam inner tires which make for a heavy bumpy ride with far less traction. Competition offers an upgrade to rubber tires for a considerable amount of additional dollars.
SEAT: Kokua LIKEaBIKE Jumper has a sturdy vinyl cushioned seat with the Kokua Logo. competition is typically hard plastic.
GEOMETRIC DESIGN: Kokua LIKEaBIKE Jumper has a low stand over height so children of different stature can utilize the bike. This design provides great maneuverability for the rider. And the Kokua LIKEaBIKE Jumper comes with one seat and two different seat posts. The short for ages 2-3, and the longer for ages 3-5 years old. The competition uses one length and often protrudes out of the bottom creating a poking hazard.
FOOT RESTS: Kokua LIKEaBIKE Jumper has angled rear forks where children can rest feet while coasting. Competition typically has added pegs, which create a poking hazard when children fall to the side.
