Ok, so due to buying a new frame, my trusty 08 Iron Horse sunday is for sale.
I may hear you think to yourself - there's loads of medium Sunday frames for sale on pinkbike, why should I buy this one over the others?
1. Frame has no cracks. There are a couple of small dents in the gusset plate from the fork bumpers, but I have had no issues with these and have been there since I boguht it 2 years ago due to the previous owner putting the bumpstops int he wrong place. The finish is raw so is genrally a decent finish and will be polished before sale which makes it looks MINT
2. The bearings run well - had new bearings fairly recently
3. Shock is awesome. Most frames of this age are running a dhx3 or 5 from years ago. I installed a Fox Van RC and had it Push Tuned to the frame. Feels amazing, not quite CCDB standard but not far off. TI spring is not included but will ship with a 400lb steel spring
4.No play in the hardware or bearings - most sundays have a chronic problem or a wobbly DW link. I have installed custom bearing spacers similar to modern dh frames which eliminate this problem. It's also had a new lower shock bolt, new hardware bolts all round, and custom black painted bearing caps.
5. Angle headset - got a -1.0 degree K9 angleset in there. Brings the bike to modern geo.
It's been an awesome bike but i've been battling with it being a bit small for my 6/0ft frame for a while so i've upgraded. If it were 20mm longer i'd probably keep it.
