Up for grabs is a 2015 Trek Fuel EX 9.9. 27.5 wheels. Shimano XTR. 18.5/17.5" frame.

Why 27.5? You like to go fast AND have fun. Smooth rolling and fast turning, definitely more playful and lively than a 29er with all the xc speed.

Why XTR? You like it when things work how they're supposed to, when they're supposed to, right? No further explanation needed.

Why 18.5/17.5? Because I'm between 5'6" and 5'11" tall. For those unfamiliar, the 18.5 is the 'virtual' frame size (how the frame feels), but 17.5 is the actual frame size (standover, dimensions)

How happy will you be riding this bike? Well, I've ridden a lot of bikes but I've never had more fun than with this one. Don't just take my word for it though, take these guy's:

So now you're asking yourself, "Self, this sounds good, but what kind of shape is this bike in?" Well, the short answer is I took good care of her. The long answer is that she's been ridden less than one year (purchased summer 2015), travelled about 800 miles, was cleaned after (almost) every ride, chain cleaned and lubed before every ride and was recently preemptively replaced, wheels touched up at beginning and end of season, and fully tuned up every month. Because she's seen some trail there are some small scratches/paint chips but hey, that happens when you ride your bike.

"Well if she's fun, fast, light (23-24 lbs), and in excellent condition, why are you selling it?" Good question. Believe me, if I didn't need to, I wouldn't. But being in college I have to have a limit to the quiver (N+1 only applies to people with full time jobs, right??) and pay off debts.

Specs include:
Frame: Trek OCLV carbon, internal derailleur and dropper post routing, Matte Carbon Smoke/Dnister Black color (aka, stealthy and sleek)
Fork: 120mm Fox 32 Factory Float fork with Climb/Trail/Descend modes and Open Mode Adjust (on the fly firmness/softness adjustment)
Shock: Fox RE:aktiv DRCV shock with CTD modes. Definitely the best suspension combination, she'll climb efficiently without much or any pedal bob and absorb bumps like a buttery boss
Wheels: Bontrager Rhythm Elite, tubeless, RapdiDrive hub (DT Swiss hub with a mere 6 degree engagement!), Bontrager XR3 tires (2.35 front, 2.2 rear)
Cockpit: Bontrager XXX 720mm bars, Bontrager XXX 80mm stem, Red Monkey black foam grips (basically ESI, but they don't tear as easy)
Brakes: Shimano XTR Trail, with on the fly reach adjust and heat-sink pads,
Drivetrain: Shimano XTR M9000 1x11 cranks/derailleur/shifter/cassette/chain, Wolf Tooth components chainring
Saddle: Bontrager XXX seatpost, Bontrager Montrose Pro saddle. I once forgot a chamois and made it almost the entire day without saddle sore, it's that comfy. True story.
**IF YOU WANT TO PUT A DROPPER ON, I WILL SELL WITHOUT THE SEAT AND SEATPOST AND KNOCK SOME $ OFF**
