2010 Jamis xct 2 19" (large)

OK guys, someone will get a steal here, this frame needs to be ridden rather than wasted sat in my basement!

For sale a used Jamis XCT 2 19" (large). I bought this bike new in 2012, rode it for a few seasons and then it's been sat in the basement. It's a good 5" trail bike, with quite modern geometry-67.5 HA, low BB, it's just a little smaller than I like (got hooked on super-short stems!).

It has quite a few paint chips, mainly from dropped chains down on the chainstays and a few scratches here and there, but has been pretty well looked after on the whole. Mechanically it is great shape. The bearings where replaced recently so should have lots of life left in them.

the shock is a fox rp2. It has been modified (see pictures). Basically the 'puck' at the base of the shock has been replaced by a valve to allow the pressure in the IFP to be charged, this was to allow me to service/tune this shock myself without having to send it to fox/push etc. I have ridden the bike dozens of times with the shock like this and it has been absolutely fine, but be aware of it.

The other 'modification' is to the top cap of the headset (which i'm including). Jamis spec'd this bike with a ridiculously tall top cap, I cut and filed it down to reduce the overall stack of the front end. it works fine and does not affect it's function, it just isn't super pretty! You can always get another top cap or another headset if it bothers you.

it takes 26" wheels, has a 135mm QR rear end, a 44mm headtube, 31.6mm seatpost.
