We're selling my wife's 2016 Specialized Ruby Comp Disc, 48 cm frame size. It was purchased brand new (ordered for her, even) from Hodson's Bay last October (2015), and has been ridden somewhere between 100 and 200 miles, closer to the 100 side. She doesn't ride hard - she can't, as she has chronic pain problems.
The bike has 2 changes from stock - one is somewhat minor, the other not as minor. ;)
The first is that the stock saddle has been changed out for a Serfas Tegu. Saddles are a very personal thing and usually with high performance bikes, people have one they like (or are planning to get a fit), so... That's the saddle that's on the bike as it sits.
The second is that the stock hydraulic disc brakes were changed for the mechanical version. They are still Ultegra brakes - but they're mechanical, not hydraulic. This is less maintenance, and also allowed for interrupter levers to be installed (which is why she had it done in the first place). The work was done by Hodson's. Interrupter levers are nice for CX, or just from braking from another hand position. (She needs to brake from that location rather than the hoods/drops.)
We're selling because the bike just doesn't fit the type of riding we do. (Replacement bike is a Rivendell Sam Hillborne...we're both on Sams now.)
The bike is located in Lafayette, IN - so obviously the easiest way to get the bike is to pick it up here, but I can arrange shipping if need be. I'd have to find out how much that will cost, and probably have to pass some of that along, as it won't be cheap, and I'll need the help of a LBS to do it.
I'm looking for about $2,100 for this bike. I can't take any trades, as proceeds from this are needed to replace it. I'm open to offers (everyone is!) but hardcore lowballs will be declined.
I prefer email for contact, but texting works to. Please, no voice calls though. :)
If you're seeing this, it's still available. I'm a responsible Craigslister, and when things sell I delete the ad when the buyer leaves with their item.
