This is a 2015, Santa Cruz Bronson Carbon C, 27.5" (650b) in great condition and size Medium.
I am the first owner of this bike and I love it. It's only a year and a half old. It's everything you want in an all mountain rig: stiff, light, great climber, and even greater descender. I've had many great adventures with this Enduro-ready beast. I'm selling it now because at my height of 5'8," I'm a medium (or even a small) according to most MTB sizings, but I have recently figured out that I have a super long torso with very short legs. So unusually for my height, I need either a large size bike or a super long reach. I have found such a bike in the Evil Insurgent. So I'm selling the Bronson to help fund the new bike.
What you get in this auction is:
- The frame
- The original Cane Creek headset
- A brand new and unused Evil seatpost clamp
- The original SRAM, 73mm threaded bottom bracket
- The original DT Swiss rear axle
- A barely used and installed, Oneup Components chainguide (which works great)
- A brand new and unused, spare, North Shore Billet SC Bronson Derailleur Hanger which was $45. The stock hanger is on the frame and totally solid. The NSB hanger was an in-pack backup and it looks bomb proof.
- Brand new, greased bearings which I received from Santa Cruz earlier today. The current bearings are working great, but now you have a backup.
- 2016 Rockshox Monarch Plus RC3. This shock was unused as it came straight out of the box with my Insurgent and then into this Bronson frame and never ridden. I'm a linear, coil guy and I had a DVO Jade on the Bronson which transferred over.
There are scratches from normal riding and usage, but there are no dents, no cracks, no raw carbon, and basically no structural issues whatsoever. The downtube had a Lizard Skins Downtube Protector for most of its life, so it's super clean. The brand new Monarch has a street price of around $400, so here's your chance to get a great, recent model carbon frame (with extras) on the cheap.
