convert your old marzocchi 888 into a fork that accepts any standard 4 bolt direct mount stem. same as boxxer and fox 40 and most other forks direct mount top crown. perfect if you want to put a short stem on an older 888. i had a 28mm straightline direct mount stem. i think the shortest stem available for the older 2 bolt marz crown was/is a 45mm
