Here is a great low cost 11-42t setup for 10 speed drive train.
Used on a dozen occasions
Used with either SRAM or Shimano XT, XTR or Saint 11-36t cassette
Lots of life left because I try to challenge myself to pedal up with the next gear but worked without issue.
Changing to 11 speed is the only reason
