2015 Custom Specialized AWOL Comp w/ tons of Extras!!!

The one bike to do it all is here. Custom 2015 Specialized AWOL Comp with a ton of extras. This bike has the ability to be a commuter/hydrid, gravel grinder, touring bike, cyclo-cross, and steel road bike. Bike is currently setup with carbon RaceFace handlebars and a 1x10 SRAM X9 drivetrain. The AWOL comes with all things needed to convert to a drop bar 2x10 SRAM APEX/X9 drivetrain, except cable/housing of course. The bike also comes with awesome silver aluminum hammered fenders, standard rear rack for touring, a set of high volume slick road tires (700x45 Specialized Electrak) and 29er mountain bike tires (29x1.9 Specialized Ground Control - brand new).


I have used this bike primarily for my short commute to work but have used as a fun little fully rigid mountain bike, full-blown touring bike, as well as aggressive gravel grinder. Technically this bike falls into the "adventure bike" category similar to a Salsa Vaya. The AWOL Comp frame has a Reynolds 725 tubing to help with compliance and weight. The AWOL also comes with pivoting rear dropouts so if you want to run it as a fixed gear, single speed, belt drive, or internal hub, the frame will accommodate all things. What I really like about the AWOL is its versatility and with its lack of proprietary parts it is easy to do whatever you want with it. The top tube length is 53.5 cm's and the seat tube is 47cm for super low stand over. I'm 5'7 and fits well with a 70cm stem. I would say it would fit a rider 5'5"-5'10" tops.
