Originally called the 69er 3x9, but I took off the large ring and but a 36t in place of the middle. It's been a great bike and I'll admit that it's been through a lot. I've replaced a lot of the components on it, including the handlebar, fork, crank, and things to keep it working well such as the bottom bracket, rear wheel, etc. the brakes and tires have been replaced, but it's been sitting for a while and so it could use new tires. The brakes are alright, but I'd recommend getting new ones. I'm asking 450 as is or we can work a deal to swap out the brakes and tires. Besides that, the chain has been replaced recently and it's working well. This bike would be great for somebody just getting into the sport, as today it would be equivalent to about a 1,200 dollar bike new. When I bought it new it was about 2,000. It's strong and durable as well, and can take more of a beating than the 600 dollar XC bikes you'll find new. I put on a Rockshox Reba RL, and so it's even better than the original fork that came with it. Just to clarify, it does have a 26 inch rear wheel and a 29 inch front. And yes, it's supposed to be that way. Best of both worlds, in my opinion. The name is Andrew, let me know if you're interested or have any questions!
