2017 Norco Optic Custom w/Pike RCT3 SixC BarTurbine Dropper

2017 Optic 9.3 bought as a first release of the 2017 run just a couple of months ago. Selling to make room in the stable for a new Norco Range..
This bike has been an exceptional trail bike, for long adventure days it makes short work of climbs. The drive train is SRAM's GX 11-42 cassette and a steel X sync 30T front chain ring with 175mm cranks.
Descending with this bike is a treat, the 130mm Pike (10mm over what the bike is suggested to come with) puts the bike in a relatively slack (estimated) 67.5 degrees (Similar to Yeti's SB4.5 and slacker then Devinci's Django 29er)
The short but capable 110mm of rear travel is quite progressive, rewarding pumping the backside of rollers and landings with tons of speed.
The Fox Float DPS Performance EVOL shock with 3 modes similar to CTD provides a nearly rigid platform in the first setting, ideal for road climbs.
The second a firm pedalling platform that I used for any uphill on a trail for efficiency but not sacrificing rear wheel traction. And finally fully open, which gave the short travel great small bump without blowing through the travel on mid sized hits.
The Magura brakes have a very similar feeling to Shimano brakes, they also use mineral oil. I will include a spare set of pads and rotor with the bike (lots of power and have never had issues with fade)
