2016 Transition Patrol Carbon M

Hi,

I have for sale my 2016 Transition Carbon Patrol, size M. The bike has been incredible for me, I have ridden it all over the world on all types of terrain and whoever ends up with her next is in for some fun!

The bike has been looked after through the year with regular servicing from Rockshox on the suspension. I think the forks and shock got serviced 3 times in the year (everytime the Rockshox tent was at an event!)

I got the bike new in August 2016 and stopped riding January 2017, so it has had 5 months of use. It has been well used because I love riding bikes, however, I would not sell a bike without some due TLC before hand. I have just replaced the frame bearings (they have had 2 rides on them), I have replaced the axle above the bottom bracket because it was worn (not ridden on the new axle). I replaced the shock bushing 2 rides ago. I have put a brand new tire on the front as it was pretty worn. It has some brand new and never ridden wheels on it. Also the dropper post has been replaced and has only done 2 rides! I have also recently fitted a new front brake (about 4 rides ago so the pads will be great still) and I bled the rear brake at the same time and put new pads in it. So as you can tell, I have given the bike a lot of love ready for the new owner.

All I would advise for the new owner is that it will need a new cassette, chain and BB at some point in the future. And that would be about £70. I did not replace these because they are still good for more use yet but just advising the new owner in advance :) There is a scratch on the stanchion but does not leak or affect them, see the picture.

-Sixth Element Carbon wheels 30mm rims on Hope Pro 4 hubs (BRAND NEW)

-2017 RockShox Pike RCT3 solo air 160mm (last serviced 1st October 2016)

-2016 RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 DebonAir (last serviced 1st October 2016, 5 bands fitted)

-Shimano Saint Brakes (the best brakes on the market! Front is a newly fitted brake, rear fresh bleed and pads)

-Shimano XT SM-RT86 Ice Tec 6-Bolt Disc Rotors (180mm front and back)

-XT 11spd drive chain (11-24t cassette, med cage mech, 30T chainring, saint hollowtech BB)

-9point8 dropper seatpost (375x125mm, newly fitted!)

-Chromag BZA 35 Stem

-Chromag carbon 35mm bars (cut to 760mm)

-Chromag Moon Saddle (slight tear in it that has been taped up but I presume the buyer would fit their desired saddle anyhow)

-Chromag grips

-Bontrager SE5 tires (Brand New on front, part worn on the rear)

-Hope Headset

I have tired to give an honest description with all points, good and bad. The bike is a great ride and now I have cleaned her up spanking ready for the new owner...I am a little sad!
The bike comes with a few spares and just general parts which I think the new owners should have:

-Spare lever for the dropper post
-Torque tool for the dropper post
-Used but OK Hope headset bearings
-A spare mech hanger
-A spare cable for the dropper post
-4 sets of spare brake pads
-Seal kit for the forks
-Olive and insert for if you would like to shorten a brake hose (the front is slightly long but fine if you are not too precise about things like that!).

Genuine sale and a great price for the kit on the bike plus the spares.

I am located in Swansea but do travel to Manchester or the Peak District if those locations are more convenient. I will post the bike at the buyers extra cost, probably about £20-25.
