2013 Ventana Martillo CX Frameset

This bike is meant for CX racing, but it's a bit of a utility bike frame: It's happiest racing CX but it's just as at home exploring gravel roads, buff singletrack, or commuting long miles.

• Eccentric BB so you can set it up as a single speed.

• GOBS of tire clearance so you can go gravel grinding with 700x40c tires easily enough.

• Disc brake tabs on the rear triangle so you can set it up with discs (although you will need a new fork if you want to go that way; the current fork is cantilever or side pull brakes only.

I had the bike set up for SS CX racing and for around town pub crawling. But I swapped all that over to a new frame that fits me a bit better and this one needs a new home. Check the specs on Ventana's website: http://www.ventanausa.com/bikes/el-martillo-cx/ The numbers are the same but the SS option on the current version is sliding drop outs vs the eccentric BB I have on mine.

There are no dings or gouges in the paint, the frame is just a bit dirty right now and with the outside water turned off due to winter time temperatures: as a result, flossing it clean for the pics wasn't happening.
