2016 JetBlack WhisperDrive direct drive trainer

This is a very silent direct drive trainer that I bought back in March ‘16. It was used for about 6 months, but not a whole lot of use during that time as it was the warmer months. I originally bought this to do some winter training indoors, but I eventually found that a spin bike was easier and more convenient for my wife and I to use since I don’t have to always swap bikes on the direct drive trainer. Plus I don’t have a spare training bike or road bike to try to make it more convenient.

Only issue: the plastic housing over the flywheel cracked and chipped off a piece during shipping. Seems to be a thin spot of plastic. It does not affect operation, probably enhances the heat dissipation of the magnets though.

Compatible with 130mm, 135mm, and 12x142mm axles (which was the best part about this brand as I used my MTB on it)
It has Shimano freehub cassette body, allows up to 10/11 speed cassettes, but no cassette included
7 levels of very effective magnetic resistance
Ultra stable, I was able to do sprints out of the saddle
