2004 Kona Dawg full-suspension mountain bike, $700, size Sm/Med (perfect size for a 5’3”-5’7” rider), blue/silver/grey, approx. total weight 30 lbs, well-used, well-loved and given up for a longer travel bike….

Fork: 2005 Marzocchi All-Mountain SL, with adjustable travel (110mm-135mm)—currently set up with 4 inches of travel to fit the intended geometry of the bike. No leaks, clean stanchions.
Shock: Progressive 5th Element Air, 6.5” eye-to-eye, 1.5” stroke.
Bars: RaceFace Diabolus
Stem: Truvativ Hussefelt 45mm
Brakes: Hayes Mag 6 inch hydraulic disk brake, rear only—NEEDS FRONT BRAKE.
Wheels: Mavic 321 disk rims, Hope rear hub, Shimano Deore front hub (both less than 6 months’ use!)
Tires: Front—Maxxis Minion 2.35 inch (BRAND NEW), Rear—Kenda Nevegal 2.35 inch (good condition)
Crankset: Truvativ Hussefelt Howitzer (BRAND NEW)
Derailleurs: Front— needs either chainguide to run as-is, or a front derailleur; Rear—Shimano XT short-cage 9-speed.


This bike has served me well on a full-range of all-mountain trails. I would recommend it for anyone just starting out with mountain biking who wants a quality bike to learn on….

Summary: Burly mountain bike in need of a rider, would only need a trip to the shop for front brake, chainguide or front derailleur, and a tune-up!
