Industry Nine Enduro 10x135mm R & 20mm F Wheelset! * I9 Hubs/Spokes (black hubs, copper spokes - no, you can't get copper even as a custom color) * 10mm x 135mm Rear (easily convertible to 9x135mm or 12x135mm T/A rear) * 20mm x 100mm Front (front is also convertible to 9x110mm QR or new 15mm) * DT Swiss EX 5.1D Rims * Can be converted to tubeless * Suitable for Clydesdales, All-Mountain, light freeride and DH racing Weight: 1855g (860g F, 995g R)! Retail: $1000 Performance This versatile wheelset defies you “do your worst!” With a 28mm rim and convertible hubset, the Enduro provides a stable platform for whatever the trail may throw at you. We increased the flange diameter to give the wheel extra stiffness while retaining the super low rotational mass we have become known for. Purpose built for the times you need to climb the most technical of trails so you can pin the 20ft double on the way down. I personally ride this wheelset on my own bike as well and love them (though mine are blue because that's my fav color). I bought these new and have kept them as a backup wheelset - they've been used only a couple times on trail rides. These are the lightest, stiffest wheels on the market, and have performed better than any other wheelset (I've tried them all, and while Hadley and King make good products, their design is outdated, and just can't compete with these). Mavic has a similar wheel design, but their freewheel mechanism is pathetic: 18 engagement points - I would never use a Mavic hub. On a side note: it seems like about 1 out of 2 riders I don't know on the trail ask me about these wheels. If you appreciate fame, then these are for you. If you want to blend in a little more, just get them really dirty and don't clean them (I find that mud on my spokes reduces the attention I get somewhat). If you don't want anyone to ask you about your wheels, then these probably aren't for you. I have these set up with the 10mm rear axle so that I could still use them on normal dropouts, but the 10mm T/A is WAY stiffer than a quick release. It's barely heavier (maybe 20g?), and totally worth it. If you are really into quick release for the rear, I'll swap it over for free. * 120 Engagement Points! * 6 Pawl Engagement Mechanism * .100" hollow aluminum spokes Condition Wheels were used for just a few rides. They are essentially new. There are only a couple very minor scuffs on the rims, which are perfectly straight and true. Spokes are tensioned properly, bearings are still new, freewheel spins like new (because it pretty much is). I would estimate no more than 9 short trail rides. Questions? erikkellison@hotmail.com |
