OTHER OPTIONS

Here's the full low down on what is still available.

As you can see below, there's a smattering of different frame sizes available.

SIDE NOTE: Transition Dirt Bag and Preston FR's = 20% off MSRP (medium or small only for the Preston, all size but not all colors for the Dirt Bag). Contact ASAP for details on that. info@pedalshop.com
FINE PRINT -- anything current year (2009) is a pick up in person product -- the rest, being a "close out", those we'll ship.

Generally speaking, we charge around $50 for US shipments, $100 for Canada (depends on how far away you are).

Right now... all 2009's are 15% off the MSRP numbers listed next to the 2009 models.

All other models are 25% off or more on some models.

e.g. 2006's are 30% off but small is the only size available.

On a personal note: I've had 3 Marin Quakes so far -- I loved each and every one of them.
I had the 06 AL7, 07 7.2 and I'm currently riding the 08 7.3. Great bikes!!!

Fitting one: I'm standing 6 foot even, 32" inseam. I ride the medium. I think it fits me perfectly and I didn't change anything to the fitting.

I have bought and sold many many freeride bikes with 6 or more inches of travel.
The Marin has a fantastic ride and I'll say it over and over. It smokes in all departments when it comes to freeride riding and then it'll turn around and climb the steepest hillside with ease. It's a beast in terms of climbing. I can't believe how well it climbs.

Quick question: are you trying to get JUST the frame/rear shock or the whole bike?

We'll do JUST a frame/rear shock sale but only the 7.2's or lower.
Here in the states, Marin does not sell JUST the frames to us so in order to provide you with a frame only purchase, we would have to take a complete bike apart, leaving us with a bunch of left over OEM parts (some of the forks are OEM only). We're not against doing this when it comes to "close-out" models but we won't do it for current year models. Since there's a fair amount work getting into parting a bike out so, in turn, the discount on the frame only won't be as good as buying the whole bike. We'll do it for a 2009 model but ONLY if we already have someone who wants to buy the build kit in advance. (again, with the 09, it has to be picked up in person).

Frames - rear shock purchase will run at a minimum $800 for the older models, more for the frames with the nicer rear shocks (like the 2008 Air DHX 5.0's).
