The 40 Legger Bush Doctors build sustainable mountain bike trails and offer guided tours complete with top shelf trail bikes. Santa Cruz, Giant, Ibis & Transition are our bikes of choice along with dropper posts and Maxxis & Shwalbe tubeless tires. All rentals come with a helmet and a pair of gloves and a professional trail guide. Be prepared to visit Zion locations. ZMBA will guide you based on your desired skill sets either on gnarly singletrack, broken roads or sweet XC the choice is yours as we supply the vybz for your dream tours. Along with the regular Mtn. Bike Tours ZMBA has for over a decade offered "off the beaten path" excursions Island wide that include The Blue Mountains & Robin's Bay as well as secret Ganja Tours that can include "Lunch in the Yard" for an epic mid day recovery. Most desolate areas we build in are located in sensitive farming zones where we are family and appreciated. Some of those hard working Rastafarians are members of the 40 Legger Bush Doctors.

I am the trail guide, trailblazer, proud member of the 40 legged trail crew, organizer and sometimes chef. My goal is building sustainable fun trails in a tropical paradise that very few venture into with a machete, hoe, foldable saws and rolls of trail marking tape. Adding these mountain bike specific trails to the natural footpaths makes for a very fun time. Low cost high return adventures are what we strive to create for visiting riders. Respect.

I met up with Madmon at The Canoe Bar for a cup of coffee, then we saddled up for a 3 hr. adventure, me riding a rented Giant Trance 27.5. Dirt roads, wooded lanes, and eventually singletrack hand-carved by him and his crew, deep in the "boosh". We also made asst. stops along the way at a local grocer, a bakery, a very cool cave, The Blue Hole, Collette's Bar, and even to chill with some of his friends and acquaintances he seemingly has everywhere in that area; a total Jamaican experience mon'. We ended up at a little restaurant/bar on 7-mile beach, discussing the history and future of MTB in Jamaica. Feel like I made a friend for life, and have made plans to go again every year if possible. Felt safe and welcomed by everyone I met that day, much respect ZMBA!

Respect and thanks for the kind words. I started digging trails over a decade ago because in Jamaica there are no trails that link up. Trails are cut and used purposely to get to a farm or a market. Some are a mile long like you found a nugget rolling through sweet jungle only to emerge in a football field sized ganja field. Some are usable as they end at a natural features like a waterfall. Then there is mother nature and she is nasty here to the point of yearly seasonal destruction. So we here in Jamaica started building sustainable trails. That ride and chat was why I do this. Loving Jamaica and sharing all it's given to me is enough.
