airmiller44- I like the VP Free. But because it is a older frame Im going to say 7/10. Most of the parts on it are nice though!

Age doesnt really mean anything, the same technology is being used to this day by intense and Santa cruz. This bike sat a lot so its not beat by any means.

oh and it has 2012 code brakes and black odi grips on it now.
I'm not saying its a bad frame by any means. I didn't mean old as in just because its old its shit. I meant it by theres newer better technology. But I rode a VP Free, and they ride great! The linkage is good on it

ps3maniac92...Please don't rate every bike you see on this forum as a 10/10 when they're really not.

7.5/10 for the VPFree
9/10 for the Intense

Turco999 I do believe this is a thread based on opinion. Therefore if he believes the bike is a 10/10 in his opinion it is. If your opinion is otherwise then feel free to share it, but do not tell people their opinion must be as it is their right to express it about the bike. At the start in the rules it says only constructive comments about the bikes.

9/10 M9
8/10 VPfree

I probably was going a bit too far saying "when they're really not 10/10 bikes". You're right that it's all up to the each other's opinion on how they view the bike, but when you rate the past 5 consecutive bikes all 10/10, your're also not being constructive to this thread. Thinking all bikes, although some very different than others, still deserve a perfect 10/10 doesn't really make sense to me.

I dont think theres such a thing as a 10, a perfect bike is unlikely to exist, like a perfect woman

I'm not blessed with a lot of money( enough to build a trek 77) in comparison against all the top of the range bikes that use the latest suspension technology alongside all the parts that create the bikes , when I see bikes like these I see gold lol, in the way I still have low - mild standards.

love it I'll give it an 8/10, It reminds me of crane structures because of the rear swing arm Smile
