We started this rebuild 3 weeks ago . Turned out great !! We changed every on the bike except frame , grips , seatclamp , headset and tires . Lost 4 pounds in the process . That is the good news . My son races BMX bikes and crashed last weekend and broke his wrist . Dr says don't ride but every time I turn around he is on one of his bikes . I hope he keeps it to his lower body and not his upper with jumping and other stuff . He is 12 and can not race or ride Dh for at least 5 more weeks . Anyway here is some pics of the rebuild . Let us know what you think .

Seat is fine for a DH bike . You don't set down until you cross the finish line . Super light and it is built with a little flex so it not all that bad .

Kid works out 2 times a day and keeps his grades up ! At 12 years old he is into racing bikes and as long as he stays out of trouble I will help him out as much as I can .

Thanks for all the comments !
