Sticky = good in my books,

Not to sure about that, if your almost pulling a muscle to skid then i think its a bit sketchy, making it harder to skid giving you less control

obviously you can get better at skidding, but still....

Meh, skidding is over rated. And when I do skid, the tire grabs the road, actually slowing me down. And besides, I'm strong enough to make the tires scream...
Also, I ride accordingly, which means a lower gear ratio. This is also great for working on your highspeed cadence.
Everyone rides different.

I probably ride pretty similar but on very different roads, stopping on a hill is pretty tough with no brakes

so true. for steep hills i just go as slow as i can to make sure i dont blow through the intersection at the bottom.

getting a new frame set soon will be running a front brake for sure. (currently id need a long armed brake cause the frame set is uper cheap)

Few years ago I found an old road bike in a trash heap. Rhonda an abandoned building with like 50 coats of paint on it and a super tacoed front wheel I stripped off all the parts and barrowed a set of wheels off my buddies Windsor hour and enjoyed it a lot till he needed his wheels back last night I goo goned the frame a bit did some research and discovered its an 85 centurion accordo 54 cmwith tange infinity tubing time to start a proper build up

Here's a little edit to the fuji. Finally laced the Eighthinch Julian I picked up from cycling closeouts 4 months ago for $99 (spokes/nips/hub incl.) Also got a Selle Italia X2 and swapped the old fuji seat. Which I must say has done absolute WONDERS for 10k+ rides. Still planning on painting the back half of the frame, as well as the front rim. also ordered in a Profile Airwing bar. I like the drops, don't feel too stretched out, but my neck gets sore after an hour from constantly looking up...

also. for rims whats a good light weight rim that wont break the bank.(best bang for the buck basically)

has to be 32 hole

Front or rear wheel? if front....I'd say IRD cadence road....390g and cheap. Could line it up with a cadence aero in the rear since its a bit beefier and still basically the same price. With 32 spoke though you can really get away with anything you can afford. My advice is on the cadence

So I'm almost done my build. I threw on a random bar just so I could ride, still need straps too.
Love it though Big Grin
