new nitto bar. a little flashy but mad solid & full of R&D

lololololol I HIGHLY dought nitto spent much money R&Ding that bar, hell, they may have literally just picked the thing out of a catalog and gone "I want that one, but make it gold"

Classic 'themontajew' post! Come out of nowhere, and just drop some sort of random cynical unsubstantiated opinion.

It's true that Nitto probably didn't put thaaat much R&D into it, it's a basic alluminium riser bar, pretty hard to screw up. And although I would have to say Nitto does get overhyped and overpriced, suggesting they're a fixie-bandwagon, catalog-order component company is pretty clueless, that's like comparing them to Origin 8, or some other company rebranding Chinese parts. Nitto makes all their own stuff in Japan, to a very reliable standard.

Did you say Japan?

Anything made in Japan is good. Period.

I can't find their website.... I wanna check some of their stuff out...

what pedals did you get in the end?

Posted: May 27, 2012 at 15:16 Quote
im just riding some standard wellgo pedals that came of a boardman hybrid pro at work. and just normal toe straps, but have doubles up on the straps to make them tougher/stiffer, works really well actually
