depends on how old... if its 27" i wouldnt put 700c's on it. makes them very "bleh" to ride.

If you do put 700c's on, put at least some 32c's on it to fill out the clearance.

Edit: is it this one?... http://gp1.pinkbike.org/p4pb7417255/p4pb7417255.jpg

Still waiting for the omnium crankset and FORT stickers to show up. Blank StarePB approves?

thats nice, but the saddle angle looks bloody uncomfortable!

I see a lot of people with those sloping top tubes line up the saddle to the top tube angle, always bugs me

Wouldn't want to go crazy fast on that bike anyway, cruising around is all they are good for

that is true.

are you guys saying that my 1971 repdo is and can not go fast? Becasue the repdo has the 3 speed internal hub gearing and that bike is the fastest iv been on. can barly find a road to get it into 3rd.

once you convert it to fixed you will start noticing it walking all over the place thanks to flexy as shit chain stay junctions.

Not saying its not fast, any bike can go fast, but how easily and safely is a different matter, its just not very suitable for that sort of thing, pretty relaxed geometry, low bb, not very powerful brakes

better off just making it comfortable to cruise around on, no need to convert it to a fixed gear

How do you mean? Does it 'not flex' as much when it free-coasts?
