Somebody should check North Shore Billet, they make a whole wack of one piece splined chainrings for SRAM mountain bike cranks... They would be the ones to do something like that.

With some risers on that'll look like such a fun bike to ride

I guess it keeps the tops of your legs dryer because of your position

I need to start on my winter bike!

better hurry up!

and yeah exactly, to cover the top of my legs, then with a waterproof jacket and cap, i find i get less wet in that position, risers open me up to the rain so to speak, plus i ride more carefully with those bars

Are they wider too? Better for cornering

Are my drops wider?

Are your drops wider than your risers?

Nah, drops are 40cm, risers i had one before are about 50cm i think. but i can corner fine holding by the stem, not really an issue for me

I prefer descending on the drops but I don't know about you it feels so good to corner with hands near the stem not sure why

descending on drops would put more weight on the front wheel giving you more grip, it will feel better to corner holding the bars by the stem because you have less control so it feels like it was that much more skill full that you didnt bin yourself. my new drops measure 46cm c-c lol gonna feel sooooo wide lol

You could round downhill on those badboys!

I may be wrong but when holding by the stem i find i turn with my upper body more, with wide risers i just use my arms, i think its just a fixed gear thing because you general use your hole body more, so it feels like i have more control, but with gears i feel stupid holding by the stem
