Longnecks are also very soft. Ruffians might be a better bet because they're grippy and tacky but don't crush much, so if that's what floats your boat... I actually just bought some sunline grips for my bro for £7 from CRC and they're pretty good. Lock on, nice thin profile, good quality of rubber. I like.

My next grips will be lock on longnecks or crosstrainers. I'm digging longnecks at the moment, but using grip glue does my head in...
You'll love lock-ons untill you catch a barspin on the clamp and it splits your palm open...
^^ this no lockons for me any more.

I have a brake lever to cut my palms open for me, so the lockrings will just complement the whole set up.

Had my first proper ride on my bike on Thursday after I had built it the day before. Some guy starting chasing me trying to steal my bike Frown Luckily I got away but he did get quite close to me.

Went to the local outdoor skatepark yesterday and got loads of comments on my bike Big Grin Loads of kids came up to me as soon as I got there lol Some of the comments:

"That's Sick" "That's a nice bike mate" "How much did that cost?" "Your tyres are well nice" lol "Can I have a go?"

"I love the colour"

I also took another link out of my chain last night, not tried it yet to see if I can notice any difference. I'll get a pic tomorrow.

I dunno about you guys, but I hate when I go to the skatepark/spots when it's busy. Soo annoying.

+1. I also dislike empty parks though 'cause when you get lazy it's nice to look at others ride.

I get that all the time. Kids get amazed by any bike that isn't a stock BMX from halfords.

The "can i have a go?" is my favorite...

"can i have a go?" "no the f*ck you can't"

"can i have a go?" "yeah alright" "really?" "no."

"can i have a go?" "no"

"can i have a go?" "Do I look like a mug?"

I like my skateparks barren. lol people are just irritating...

The "is that a trials bike" line is always hilarious

Me and my mates walked into a skatepark and some kid shouted

"Oh well good. Dirt bike jumpers!"

We loled. lol

Luckily the only person to comment on my bike at a skatepark was a dude who rides downhill as well as bmx so he knew what was up

Kids at one of my local skatepark were amazed when I cleared the jump box. They didn't even realise that was what you were meant to do... f*cking scooter kids...

They called it "boosting" if you try and jump more than like half a meter...

I just get kids that are really arsey and don't think I can grind on my MTB. As soon as you pull even a feeble they all lick your ass for ever, annoys the shit out of me.
