Yup, it all helps. Serial # is the main thing.

I hear you. Hopefully the jerk who stole my Blindside got hit by a bus while riding it. I would usually never wish harm on another human, but bike thieves are far from human.

My buddy just got his bike stolen from the Safeway in Petaluma, California around 8:00pm last nite 5/20/12. It's a bright green Marin with green Azonic Outlaw wheels, Rock Shox Pike fork and red grips like you can see in the pic. I will post more info when I get it.....but as you can see, this is a hard to miss bike. If you see it anywhere on the net or in real life contact me ASAP! He would be very stoked to get his bike back as we all would be. Thieves are scum!!!

Pictures here:

I recently had my bike trials bike stolen from my garage in UBC.

It is about a year old,

09 Zoo Piranha long
king rear hub,
carbon downtube protection
Rockman carbon bar
Trialtech stem
Continental tires front and back
Magura HS33 in the rear and Hope trials front brake

Thanks.

Also, I would appreciate it if someone could copy and paste the pictures to here,

Just wanted to add that I found my bike and I wanted to share what happened.

First, I saw a suspicious ad on NSMB buy and sell
http://buysell.nsmb.com/showproduct.php?product=33787&title=zoo-for-sale-must-sell&cat=14
pretty obvious it is stolen
- Extreme low price of $400 for a complete Zoo trials bike
- Seller will not provide any specs
- Seller will not provide real pictures
- Seller's previous sell history

I called the seller pretending to be a buyer, arranged a meeting, then I made sure to bring my buddy with me.
We met the scatch looking seller (who is obviously the guy who stole my bike) and his first nations girl friend. We didn't try to start a fight, and just said it is my bike and we are taking it. He wanted to see proof that it was my bike so I showed him the picture of my bike before it was stolen. We shook hands and went our ways.

And yes I did talk to the police, but it will be quite hard to invite him to the jail, since trials bikes don't come with serial number. And there is no definite proof that he broke in to my home.

But I have my bike back and that's what matters Smile
So if you lose your bike, make sure you look through ebay, nsmb, and many other bike forums. Don't despair if it doesn't turn out, I found mine for sale almost 2 months later it was stolen.

Awesome BikeTrials! Can't believe you got it back after two months. My buddy got his bike back as well (bike above). I don't know the story yet but he did say he didn't find the guy that stole it...just got it back.

Sorry to hear about yours dfrost, but as you can see you do get them back sometimes. Good luck.
