Nah, that's Campag Mirage isn't it.

Probably Record 9 speed, I think Mirage always had a plastic upshift lever.

Looked on Prolly, actually a 10sp Chorus set up. We were both wrong!

Yeah, saw those the other day... really nice, some kamtail action for aero and tucked away brakes. There was a funny photo where one of the guys from another team, Euskatel or Moviestar I think it was, was drooling over the new RSNT bikes. Not a fan of the 2-bolt only mounts for brakes though.

Another way to help lower the COG of the bike too.

My big beef is... how the f*ck are you gonna reach back and open your caliper when you're climbing like a boss!?!?!

I think the only reason they have put the calliper there is structural. Move all the braking forces away from the seatstays and really optimise the them for stiffness/ride. Reposition the posts down near the bottom bracket where its nice stiff and chunky and the post are close to a node to minimize flex.

why would you have to open your caliper?

I wonder if there would actually be more or less of a flex issue at the CS than the SS? There's definitely more movement around the BB area but maybe the rim stays more central at the CS?
