Thats really neat man. How much did it cost to get that milled out or how long did it take you to make?

Hi, thanks man! A friend of mine milled out the arms and I turned the tube that is welded to them, so i cant tell exactly how much it costs. If you're interested, let me know how can i help you.

Thanks bro! It is 6061 T6 Aluminum. It looks different because its not hard anodized yet. It differs from the original because its shorter and it has less leverage for the shock. That makes the suspension harsher and better for jumps and pedaling but it loses an inch of travel. I tried to keep the original geometry of the entire bike so I had to lower the BB height in order to compensate the much smaller SAG.

So, it actually improved the pedaling efficiency??
And how's it working for DJ??

Yes, definitely improved the pedaling efficiency. The suspension is much harsher than stock. I am not an experienced dirt jumper but I feel it much nimbler and stable in the air. That's because the geometry of the bike doesn't change much when it takes off and the suspension extends. I usually ride at a BMX track and I can fly doubles I couldn't before.

Buddy of mine (Jesseparoline) has a 11' dj1 on his Scott voltage I rode it at highland for a couple runs and it wasn't bad. Def lacked in the chattery sections but it had loads of pop. We were running it pre stiff. Not sure what the 08's are like though.

08s are the ones that had tons of problems if i remember. stay away from all marzocchi 2008-2009 products. Ive had bad experiences but the 2011 4x i have is flawless

Really? I have two friends that replaced their 08 09 4xs because they had the typical problems from that year
Bad top out, internals breaking, general poor quality
