im not being a jackass :s i have a 661 comp aswell. the padding you cant take out therfore there isnt a way of replacing therfore if you want to be safe then i suggest you go and try helmets on to get one that fits you properly unless you want something which is going to move around or a ghetto helmet which isnt ideal

im gonna cut the top part of a soft cap and place it inside the helmet... nice

Or grow your hair. When my hair gets into the 2" length region my helmets nearly refuse to fit, then when I cut it back down to its regular 1/4 or 3/8" length they fit nicely. So, you don't have to have shoulder length hair to make a difference, just going from short to medium is enough.

yeah putting a toque semi permanently on the inside of the helmet is a decent but hot idea.

Make sure theres no hard parts on it. I've heard of gymnasts landing on hair clips which then go through their skull. Eek

send it back and get a helmet that fits properly there is no point having an ill fitting helmet it will move about when you crash and hurt so try some on and find one that fits properly
