Yeah. I'm not going to report anyone but I'm just not going to let the arguments he tries to start with me progress.

Anyway, bikes.

hi. I want to get into mountain biking so i was wondering what bike i should I get. I understand that biking is a very expensive hobby/sport and I have not that much money to spend on it right now (im 15) i have about £150. I was just wondering if there are any bikes that would be able to ease into the sport/hobby.Thanks.

Hey guys,

I've been biking trails for quite a while now and wanted to get a FS frame. I have 2 options in mind, Specialized Stumpjumper and Titus FTM. Any comments, suggestions or anything.. Thanks.

i don't know about the titus, but i have a 2004 stumpjumper fsr, and even though it s old, it rocks! I use it as more of an all mountain bike, i take it off of some jumps and i do all kinds of cross country rides and it gives me no trouble what so ever. Once more i have never ridden the Titus, but i can tell you that if you get the specialized, you will not regret it.

Hey Guys, I'm new to this so please excuse me if this isn't the right thread.

I got into Mountain Biking about 2 years ago. I have started to get quite serious and realized that my bike isn't for me or my skill level anymore. I would consider myself as an intermediate rider. I currently have a Norco Wolverine 06' or 07' i'm not sure. But I would like to upgrade to something that can/will handle more difficult stuff. This is where the problem comes into play I have tried riding trails and I have tried dirt jumping....I enjoy both, I would eventually like to get a bike for both but for now I can only get one I don't know which "side" to choose first. If you guys could suggest some bikes from each side, that would be great, and maybe drop a suggestion of which riding style to choose first. My Price range is about $1500 max but I can fluxiate for a hundred or two if needed. Thanks for your time.

Do you like gears? You'll have way much more fun, and way much more money to spend if you go for a singlespeed machine...

You should check out some of the Cromoly Concentric Bottom-bracket frames on the market, like these ones:

DMR Bolt

MacMahone Kingdom

Dobermann Le Pink

With a budget of $1500 you're going to have to look around the second hand advertisements, and try and source a good frame first, then ditto with each component until you have everything to construct the build. This way will take a lot of time and effort, but the end result will be an amazing bike, with a few scratches here and there, for a third of the price....(providing you source components that are not broken/faulty etc).

Or you could just opt for the easy route, and take something of lower-quality, brand new off the shelf, like a Trek or a Specialized etc, and just follow the herd like a sheep.
