hey, do any of u notice the fox 40 bumpers dont really work after a couple ride? what do you suggest? thanks

ya my 40 bumpers broke after 1 crash, now my crown is hitting the lower weld on the headtube, i dont really know what you can do besides maybe run a non internal headset bottom cup,

Well, as mentioned it has been hot as hell and ive been pretty buisy...

SO, my bad on this one.... it seems that my B tension screw on the derailer had a loc tite failure and walked its way out thus causing the chain and derailer rub... Facepalm ... I am feckin stoooopid lol, Fixed it by adjusting the b tension screw and using better and more loctite. I will have to keep an eye on this to see if it continues to Walk, but i doubt it. Good you found the problem, could you still take a pic? I am curious to see what happened.

i was thinking make your own bumpers, take their design and improve upon it by cutting an offset into some some beefier bumpers

I can post one next time i break out the cam it's GF's as mine is busted right now and dont know where she keeps it lol, Its a pretty good chain rub after some point during 2 days resort riding, ( think lots of high gear pedaling resulting in deep scratch ) and has also now been painted to protect the frame, I am glad that it isnt a issue with spesh frame and my own dehydrated dumbass not putting 2 and 2 together after a long day. i do notice the potential for frame Chain rub ironically in the place where there is a space in the plastic guard i think this is what others have referred to though I have no issues there ( yet ) Salute

i was running the odi bumpers on my boxxer and they broke Frown but it is the easiest solution to your problem

That's the spot I've always worried about. I have no idea how they are gonna run a smaller rear on them next year and not have any issues.

i have no idea why they would run a different size.... except maybe to sell stuff.. lol

I'm super interested in the 9 tooth small cog, bummed on the 135 rear. Oh, and that stupid 10k roadie pricetag.

9 tooth cog? wow. Funny now that there is 11 spped dh and also 8 speed Cassette. But the 135 Rear seems to me a step backwards.
