Nice. I'd like to know how you like that 2x guide after some miles. I've heard mixed reports, but it def looks cleaner than traditional bash and roller. Many say the crank bashguard is "better" than the taco bashguard, but I see plenty of tacos on hardcore bikes, and I like the idea of the bash/skid plate being tucked under the BB more rather than out at the crankarm.
What 2x guide is that? TRS dual?
It's a truative guide. I've never had a chain guide before so nothing to compare it to, but i'll write a review on it next week once i actually get to try it out.
I just got a flight booked for tomorrow morning, first ride tomorrow night [YT=][PV=]
Looks a bit narrow and im not sure I could ever get comfortable with the shifting? Cool though...
thanks, i was just making some room for my new FUX onthefly adjustable suspension controlls, dropper seatpost,GPS,iPlop....
why not try some twistshifts?(nothing to loose but all cred,friends....etc), i was sceptical but last time i used them was over a decade ago,got some cheap on eabaye, thought i would take them off after 10 min....
Its slowly coming together. I'm finally back to having a steady job after 4 months of 'freelance' doing whatever I can to scrape together some extra cash... so a new frame should be mine by the end of the year. (As long as I can stay patient.. always hard!!)
Biggest upgrade to date: flow rims on hope proII evo hubs -- absolutely amazing difference! They're also my first complete wheelset that I have built so far. I've done a few 6' drops, and about 20 or so 3-4'ers, not to mention some serious rock garden and rooty abuse and they are still perfectly true and round... so I must have done alright.
Boss just placed the order for my new RS Sektor solo air.. can't wait. 2 more weeks and he said he would order a set of SLX brakes + a renthal bar/stem combo. Anyway.. heres a blurry pic.
