Had a go on my friend's nomc the other day at coed y brenin. Overbiked for there, but a lovely machine nevertheless. He runs a CCDB Coil and Bos Devilles, i9 Enduro wheels and a sixc crank but the rest is the same spec.

(oh, and rubber queens but tyres are personal)

Got the rp23 tuned and pushed and the 2013 fox's are just supreme feeling this will be doing a lot of climbing as well as mini DH so what with the carb' rims and the rp23 shock weight stays at 29 which is great for me,looked at ccdb but decided against it in the end after trying the tuned shock and being wowed by it. Who knows if it becomes more of a DH beast I may put 180 up front and drop on a coil.

If I lived by you I would let you use my CCDB air and you would hate me for it b/c you would immediately be down $700. I understand you like the RP, I liked mine at first as well.

i know i have tried it and its fantastic but im gonna be honest for what im using it for im staying with the rp' Its tuning has truly made it an awesome shock i cannot fault it ,like i say if i was doing shuttle runs all day i might be persuaded but im not, remember i chose the rp over the coil, couldve had it but was more than happy with the fox plus the weight.

Awesome Smile She can handle anything! I keep telling myself I need a 160mm Lyrik up front, but the 150mm Revelation is an amazing fork and seems to work really well with the Monarch RT3
