It's not turning into anything. It already was one before it was even made.
That and politics is never going to make for a happy go lucky chat...

fyp

He was just being sarcastic... he was just trying to think of things to get me rilled up. Though of his list, only America sucks & Sram sucks would get me. Mensa does suck and WW2 being an inside job is so stupid I don't even know where he's at with that one. Are you saying the Polish set themselves up to be invaded by Germany?

The having a stupid opinion on everythign, I fully agree... he does.
great success!

if I wanted you angry, I'd bold your spelling of riled.

Poland invaded themselves. Read the literature.

Honestly, the only thing about you that makes me angry is that it's possible for a person to be so ignorant in this day and age. What literature do you read? Comic books?

Let me guess, Poland really signed for both Germany and Russia in the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact... they then divided up their own lands in the German–Soviet Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, & Demarcation... and their soldiers defended the Romanian bridgehead fromt themselves?

9/1 Germany invaded from the north, south, & west... 9/17 Russia invaded from the east... 10/5 Poland lost the Battle of Kock and retreated and Poland was annexed less than a week later.

It's funny how you start out thinking you're right and once you're shown your ass you act like you were just trolling and knew it was bullshit all along... All you accomplish in either case is making yourself look dumb so... congrats for that.

So...
The Cornell Moral Realists would have us believe that we owe financial aid to places like Sub-Saharan Africa, as a result of our inescapable moral duty as persons.

Thoughts?

Moral responsibility should not equal fiscal responsibility.

As sad as it is, when we are in a financial predicament like we currently are, our country comes first.

and certainly, no disrespect for equality or personhood is implicated by choosing to aid ones friends, peers, family or countrymen. However, the metric of harm prevented compared to (monetary) sacrifice made is at such stark contrast in SSA in particular, that (R. Dworkin) would argue that some aid is an ethical obligation for north Americans.

I see what you are saying, however I sometimes feel like it's just an abyss that we are dumping money into. I see the success's of individual organizations like Invisible Children no doubt, however in my pessimistic view the continent will be a, excuse me, but a shit hole for a long time. I see no real end to the horrific chapters that the people go through. Ever since Europe chopped Africa up over 100 years ago, the place has been nothing but war and destruction.
